The Belden 1694ABHD1 is a one-piece, 75-ohm HD BNC male compression plug built for Belden 1694A 18 AWG RG6 precision video cable. Choose a single connector for a repair, or 10-, 25- and 50-packs for patch builds, rack wiring and larger broadcast or pro AV installs.
Belden rates the 1694ABHD1 to 6 GHz for HD-SDI, digital video, SMPTE 424M 3 Gb/s HD-SDI 1080p and SMPTE 2081-1 6 Gb/s UHDTV signals. Its nickel-plated brass body and nut, gold-plated brass center contact and PTFE insulator hold return loss across the band, and the green Belden band identifies it at the patch panel.
Non-blind entry and compression rings make terminations fast and repeatable with the Belden PSA59/6 strip tool and CPLCRBC-BR compression tool. The 1694ABHD1 is intended for indoor, non-plenum installations; for plenum runs on 1695A cable use the Belden 1695ABHD1.
