JBL 3733-M/HF Mid-High Section Only – Cinema ScreenArray
The JBL 3733-M/HF is the mid and high-frequency horn block component of JBL Professional’s 3733 ScreenArray, engineered for cinema installations behind perforated screens. This pre-assembled section delivers precise directional control and consistent coverage across the mid and treble spectrum, designed to integrate with the separate 4739 low-frequency cabinet for a complete three-way system.
Coverage & Frequency Response
The 3733-M/HF section provides 100-degree horizontal coverage with asymmetrical vertical directivity via Dual Dissimilar Arraying technology, ensuring even acoustic distribution across listening positions. Paired with the 4739 LF section, the complete 3733 system spans 40 Hz to 19 kHz (−3 dB), delivering full-range monitoring and playback in professional recording and mixing environments.
Components & Power Handling
The horn block houses 2× 165H 165 mm (6.5-inch) midrange drivers with 38 mm voice coils and 2× 2415-XP high-frequency compression drivers, all wired to a nominal impedance of 12 ohms. The M/HF section handles 300 W of input power and integrates into a bi-amplified configuration that demands separate amplification for the bass cabinet.
