Five-axis in-body image stabilization, rated up to 4.5 EV steps, works with every lens you mount, so even vintage primes and compact zooms gain steady handheld performance. The 121-point contrast AF system includes Face and Eye Detection for portraits, and mechanical bursts reach approximately 8.7 fps, rising to around 15 fps with the electronic shutter. Exposure compensation spans +/- 5 EV, and the built-in flash adds fill light when needed.
For video and social content, the 3.0-inch touchscreen tilts down 180 degrees for self-recording, and the camera captures 4K 30p, Full HD 60p and 720p high-speed clips. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth handle smartphone transfer and remote shooting, while the included BLS-50 battery and USB AC adapter keep the kit ready to go.
