JBL 3732-M/HF Mid-High Section Only – Cinema ScreenArray
The JBL 3732-M/HF is the upper horn assembly from JBL Professional’s three-way ScreenArray cinema loudspeaker, engineered to deliver articulate midrange and extended highs with precise directional control. This section houses two 6.5-inch midrange drivers and a titanium-diaphragm compression driver, pre-assembled and pre-aimed for integration into a complete monitoring or playback system. The mid-high section requires pairing with the 3739 low-frequency cabinet (sold separately) to form the full 3732 system.
Acoustic Performance & Coverage
Free-field sensitivity measures 103 dB (HF 115 dB), providing ample headroom for moderate amplifier power in studio and mastering environments. Horizontal coverage spans 90 degrees with vertical pattern of 20 degrees up and 30 degrees down, optimizing vocal detail and spatial ambience across typical mixing and monitoring positions.
Driver Configuration & Power Handling
Two 165H 165 mm (6.5-inch) midrange transducers with 38 mm voice coils capture the critical vocal and dialogue range with clarity and presence, while a single 2432H 75 mm (3-inch) titanium diaphragm compression driver with 38 mm exit extends high-frequency response for accurate mixing. The section operates at 8 ohms nominal impedance and accepts 150 W (AES 100-hour) or 300 W recommended amplifier input via screw-terminal barrier-strip connectors.
